Terms of Service

Last updated: April 2026

1. Acceptance

By using OpenSlate you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, don't use the service. OpenSlate is operated as a fantasy esports contest platform built on top of dotascore data.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction). You're responsible for ensuring that contests with entry fees are legal where you live. OpenSlate may restrict cash-prize contests in certain regions.

3. Account & KYC

One account per person. We may require government-ID verification before approving withdrawals. Multi-accounting, account sharing, automated entry, and impersonation are prohibited and may result in account termination plus forfeiture of funds.

4. Contests, fees, payouts

Contest entry fees are paid into a prize pool. Payouts are calculated automatically from dotascore's authoritative match data and the contest's published payout curve. Once a contest is settled, payouts are final and irreversible.

5. Cancellations & refunds

Hosts may cancel their own contests before settlement; entrants are refunded their entry fee in full. We may also cancel contests for material data anomalies, suspected fraud, or operator error. Cancellations within 30 minutes of lock-time are restricted to protect entrants.

6. Acceptable use

No collusion, no chip-dumping, no exploiting bugs, no scraping. Don't try to reverse- engineer pricing or projection models for resale. Use of automation tools (bots) to enter contests or place withdrawals is forbidden.

7. Data & privacy

See the Privacy Policy. We retain financial records as required by applicable law.

8. Limitation of liability

OpenSlate is provided "as is" without warranty. To the maximum extent permitted by law we are not liable for losses arising from data outages, third-party providers, or actions taken in good faith based on dotascore data.

9. Changes

We may update these Terms. Material changes will be announced in-app. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
