What we collect

  • Account info: email, optional username and avatar URL.
  • Region preferences: country, currency, time zone, language.
  • Wallet activity: deposit / withdrawal / contest ledger entries.
  • KYC docs: government ID + optional selfie, used only for compliance review and access-restricted to staff.
  • Device info: browser, IP, push-notification endpoint (if you opt in).
  • Audit log of admin actions on your account.

What we do with it

We use it to operate contests, process payments, prevent fraud, and meet legal obligations. We do not sell your data. We share with third parties only when required to deliver the service (Stripe / NexusPay for payments, Resend for email, dotascore for match data).

Push notifications

When you opt in we store a per-device push subscription so we can notify you about contest locks, settlements, deposits, and refunds. Disable any time from /notifications.

Cookies

We use first-party session cookies (auth) and a CSRF cookie. No third-party advertising cookies.

Data retention

Financial records are retained as required by law (typically 7 years). KYC documents are retained until your account is closed plus the legally-required hold period. You can request deletion of non-financial data at any time.

Your rights

Depending on your jurisdiction (GDPR, CCPA, PH Data Privacy Act, etc.) you may request access, correction, deletion, or export of your data. Contact us via the in-app support channel.

Security

Passwords are bcrypt-hashed. Wallet balances are stored in Postgres with double-entry ledger semantics. Withdrawals are reviewed manually within 24 hours.

Children

OpenSlate is not for users under 18. We don't knowingly collect data from minors.
